It is my hobby and my passion to make Candles and cosmetics. When I was 7 years old, I was diagnosed with Retinitis Pigmentosa which is an eye disease that causes vision impairment. It is a degenerative disease that through faith and grit I have learned to live with and because of it I have had a unique perspective on the world. It has led me into equally unique hobbies that require the use of my other senses. Around the time of my diagnosis, I remember making my first candle out of Crisco and a cotton wick. I also remember making my first perfume by crushing flowers from my family's yard by using a rock. Now at age 30, I have developed and perfected my craft utilizing the best and safest candle and cosmetic bases on the market. With the help of my fiancé in February of 2023 we developed the business plan and product line for what is now Fanning Flames & Fragrances.I am a massage therapist of 12 years with hopes of making my passion in candles & cosmetics my full-time job. Whether it is Candles, soaps, scrubs, or perfumes it is an honor and blessing to share my unique scented products with you and feel free to reach out with any concerns, comments, or questions you may have!
